Khevron (Don's) Mooseadventures Page
Our first new destination was Hawaii, as Lareena hadn't been there yet. We both now have all 50 States Visited.
Hawaii!
Monday evening we flew to Anchorage and Honolulu. Both flights were pleasant and ahead of schedule!
The Airport on O'ahu was like 1972 all over again with the wood-look features and concrete everything else. Thought I'd hear Don Ho or the Rat Pack at any moment! Same with our AirBnb Hotel. Check this Vinyl platform bed!

We got our car in the morning - I walked a mile to pick it up. We parked near Waikiki Beach and explored a bit.

Here's a huge Banyan tree:

We're in an AirBnB near the beach in Waianae for the next 8 days. Our first Hawaiian Sunset:

Spent Friday all day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. 1.5 hr drive each way, 9 hours in the park!
Sort of an elaborate educational theme-park all about Pacific Islander cultures.

Tahiti's drums and dancers are (still!) the best!
Lareena Snail-Rider! (Bishop Museum, Honolulu, HI)

Kap, the Samoan Comedian at the Polynesian Cultural Center
Pretty much the routine we saw.
