This is a good construction up until the charging of the bordure. One charge, or maybe 2 alternating charges would be okay in a bordure.
Just for reference, the animals are, clockwise from top center: a Swan displayed gules, an Hind statant azure, a Pelican vert gorged of a ducal coronet Or, Hare passant purpure, a Dolphin haurient to sinister azure, a Bull salient gules, a Lamb passant guardant purpure, a Wolf sejant regardant sable and a Antelope courant vert. All non-combattant!
