Marshalling: Merging two families or lineages on a coat of arms. Royal lines sometimes combine many lines over time. The above would be the Royal lines in Oertha, West Kingdom (though taken to extremes), but Marshalling is not allowed in SCA Heraldry. Marshalling would be claiming honors or lineage not personally earned, therefore individuals cannot use Marshalling.
