This was made for Khevron for his Pelican ceremony, and is in the form of a notebook cover.
Khevron appears in the embroidery as himself, dressed in garb also made by Kareina, based on a photo from 12th century artwork. Pelicans, and talbots from his arms, and seneschal keys appear. The work is meant to show service.
